Assist with Daily and Indipendent Living
Personal Care:
Personal Hygiene & Grooming – Assistance with showering, bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, hair care, and skin care to maintain cleanliness and confidence.
Medication Prompting/Assistance – Providing verbal reminders for a client to take their medication at the correct time. We provide hands-on support for clients unable to take medication independently, such as opening packaging or measuring correct dosage, as directed by health professionals.
Dressing & Personal Appearance – Helping you choose appropriate clothing and assisting with dressing while respecting your personal style and preferences.
Toileting & Continence Support – Providing discreet assistance with toileting, continence aids, and hygiene maintenance.
Mobility Assistance – Helping with movement around the home, transferring from bed to chair, and using mobility aids to promote safe and confident movement.
Assist with Daily and Indipendent Living
Household Tasks:
General Cleaning: Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and bedrooms. Laundry Support: Washing, drying, folding, ironing clothes, and organizing wardrobes.
Meal Preparation: Preparing meals based on dietary needs and preferences, ensuring participants receive nutritious and balanced meals.
Dishwashing and Kitchen Cleaning: Cleaning dishes, countertops, and ensuring a tidy kitchen space.
Grocery Shopping: Accompanying participants to the store or shopping on their behalf to ensure their homes are stocked with essentials.
Home Organization: Decluttering, arranging furniture, and organizing living spaces for better accessibility.
Assist with Daily and Indipendent Living
Meal Management:
Dietary Consultation & Planning: Collaborating with participants and health professionals to create meal plans that meet specific nutritional goals, allergies, and cultural preferences.
Meal Preparation & Cooking: Preparing fresh, healthy meals in the participant's home, ensuring a variety of balanced options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Portioning & Storage: Packaging and labeling meals into individual portions for easy reheating, ensuring the fridge and freezer are organized for safe consumption.
Ingredient Prep & Chopping: Assisting with the physical tasks of cooking, such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients to make independent cooking safer and more accessible.
Kitchen Hygiene & Safety: Maintaining a clean workspace by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and checking food expiry dates to ensure a safe environment.
Assisted Grocery Shopping: Accompanying participants to the supermarket to help with selection, budget management, and the physical task of transporting groceries.
Specialized Texture Support: Preparing meals for participants with swallowing difficulties (dysphagia) by following specific texture-modified guidelines (e.g., pureed, minced, or moist).
